In August 2022, the ABCC commenced court proceedings alleging that Arron Platt, and through him the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (CFMMEU), breached section 500 of the Fair Work Act while exercising entry rights as a permit holder on site at the Woolworths Warehouse and Distribution Centre Project in Auburn, NSW. In December 2022, these proceedings were transferred from the ABCC to the Fair Work Ombudsman. On 19 May 2023, the Fair Work Ombudsman discontinued these proceedings.
