You can submit an online enquiry through My account if you have a question about your workplace rights or responsibilities.

What to expect

First, it’s important to know that we’ll respond to your enquiry within 10 business days.

If you need a response sooner, please call us on 13 13 94. You might be on the phone for a little while, so consider getting ready for the call by reading Before you call.

Small business employers can also consider using our Employer Advisory Service (EAS). It’s a free service that gives written advice about pay and conditions. We offer this service to help make sure small business employers are meeting their obligations under the Fair Work Act.

Submitting an online enquiry

Submitting an enquiry online takes around 5-10 minutes. We’ll ask you questions about your situation so we can give you accurate advice. What we help with covers the topics we can help with.

You can save a draft of your enquiry so you can come back to it later.

Once you’re ready, make sure to click Submit my enquiry to an adviser so that we receive your enquiry – we can’t review an enquiry unless you do this.

Remember you can also use your My account to:

• check if your enquiry has been successfully submitted
• see a list of enquiries you’ve already made.

After you submit

After you submit your enquiry, an adviser will review it. We’ll then get in contact with you within 10 business days.

Sometimes we will need to call you to discuss your enquiry in more detail. We’ll notify you via a text message if this needs to happen.

If your situation changes

Please don’t submit more enquiries if:

• your situation changes
• you can’t wait any longer for a response from us.

Doing this can cause further delays in responding to your first enquiry and other customers’ enquiries.

Instead call us on 13 13 94 and quote your enquiry number. We’ll aim to help you quickly and easily over the phone.
