Staff employees & averaging overtime in the Black Coal Award

An employer and Staff employees can agree to average overtime in the Black Coal Award.

A set period must be agreed to, such as a fortnight or month.

Example

An employer and their Staff employees agree to average overtime fortnightly.

This means that overtime is paid when a Staff employee works more than 70 hours in a fortnight, instead of 35 hours in a week.
