Maximum attendance days in the Teachers Award
What is the maximum number of attendance days?
Teachers are only required to attend a maximum of 205 days during term and non-term weeks.
This doesn’t apply to:
- teachers employed in early childhood services operating for at least 48 weeks a year, or
- schools that follow the calendar and school year of a different country.
Do school holidays count as attendance days?
School holidays won’t count as attendance days unless a teacher works on the day.
Do public holidays count as attendance days?
Public holidays won’t count as attendance days unless a teacher works on the day.
