  • kennel supervisors
  • farriers
  •  raceday officials:
  • bird cage attendants
  • ground announcers
  • racecourse inspectors
  • timekeepers
  • chief better supervisors
  • raceday judges
  • raceday racecallers
  • liquor employees:
  • bar attendants
  • cashiers.

The Racing Clubs Award also covers labour hire businesses and their employees who are placed with an organisation engaged in the staging of events at horse and greyhound racing venues.

Who the Racing Clubs Events Award doesn’t cover

The following employers and employees are not covered by the Racing Clubs Events Award:

  • employees engaged in the maintenance of racing venues
  • food/drink attendants who are employed by a catering/hospitality business to perform work where the racing event is being held.
