Casual ordinary hourly rate in the Plumbing Award
The casual ordinary hourly rate is calculated by adding the casual loading of 25% to the weekly hire ordinary hourly rate.
Plumbing employees
The weekly hire ordinary hourly rate includes the following:
- minimum hourly rate
- industry allowance
- special fixed allowance.
If they apply:
- leading hand allowance
- plumbing trade allowance
- registration allowance.
Other allowances in the award are not included when calculating the casual ordinary hourly rate.
Sprinkler fitting employees
The weekly hire ordinary hourly rate includes the following:
- minimum hourly rate
- industry disability allowance
- space, height and dirt money allowance
- sprinkler fitters adjustment.
The following allowances are also added, if they apply:
- leading hand allowance
- fire sprinkler fitting trade allowance.
Other allowances in the award are not included when calculating the casual ordinary hourly rate.
