FWO’s role in enforcing Government funded paid parental leave
FWO only accepts referrals about non-payment of Government funded paid parental leave from Centrelink.
If a referral is made by Centrelink, FWO can:
- enforce employer obligations
- take action to have penalties imposed for breaches of obligations.
Employees must contact Centrelink on the Family and Parents line 13 61 50 or through their website to resolve any concerns.
