Beauty therapy graduates in the Hair & Beauty Award
Beauty therapy graduates can be full-time, part-time or casual. This is the case even though the Hair and Beauty Award refers to full-time only.
For the first 12 months they are employed, beauty therapy graduates get 92.5% of the standard weekly rate.
A casual beauty therapy graduate gets:
- 92.5% of the standard weekly rate
- a 25% casual loading.

Hair and Beauty Award - clause 2 says the standard weekly rate is the minimum weekly rate for a Hair and beauty employee level 3.
